Dina Hall trained in Switzerland under PhiBrows Master Vesna Milo of the world-renowned Branko Babic Microblading Academy. She’s a four-time winner of Tampa Magazine’s Best of the City for Microblading (2021–2024) and has also been named Best of South Tampa in the same category for four consecutive years. Based in Tampa, Florida, Dina specializes in restoring and redefining brows through precise, artful microblading—one client at a time.
Microblading is a technique of micropigmentation using a hand tool for precise application of individual hair strokes. These strokes mimic the effect of real hairs. A disposable blade comprised of very fine needles deposit pigments into the dermis with hyper realistic results for a more beautifully shaped eyebrow.
Powder brows uses a digital machine, which allows soft pixels of color to be layered into the eyebrows to create a soft eyebrow powder look. Also known as Ombre Brows, Powder Brows are a perfect option for people with oily skin. They heal softly and lightly.
Microblading and Powder Brows are ideal if you're looking to fill in sparse areas, reshape overplucked brows, or simply want a more defined look—without the daily hassle of makeup. If you're in the Tampa Bay area, come see Dina and wake up to perfect brows every day.
Avoid the sun and tanning bed 5-7 days before your microblading or shading for your Tampa appointment. This can thin your blood and make you bleed more during your treatment, which results in poor healed results.
Please refrain from alcohol, all aspirin products and blood thinners (like Ibuprofen and Aleve) for 24 hours prior to your appointment time. Tylenol is the only medication you can take for pain.
Do not take Vitamin E, fish oil capsules (Omegas), Gingko Biloba or St. John’s Wort for 7 days prior to your application. These items can also make you bleed more during the treatment, which can affect longevity of your microbladed eyebrows.
Avoid energy drinks & large amounts of coffee for 24 hours before your appointment. You need to be relaxed for your treatment.
Laser treatments or chemical peels must be performed 30 days prior to your appointment or 4-6 weeks after.
Do not use retinol products for 2 weeks prior to your appointment (avoid the eyebrow area after your microblading as it will increase the speed at which the pigment fades).
Botox or fillers must be performed two weeks before your appointment or two weeks after.
If you're in the Tampa area, booking a consultation is the best way to find out if you're a good candidate for microblading. While it’s a great option for many, there are some health conditions that may prevent you from safely receiving the treatment. Microblading is not recommended for individuals who are pregnant, breastfeeding, taking blood-thinning medications, undergoing treatment for autoimmune disorders, or recovering from recent chemotherapy. It’s also not suitable for those with certain skin conditions like psoriasis, eczema, dermatitis, rosacea, keratosis pilaris, chronic acne, or for anyone prone to keloid scarring or who is insulin-dependent diabetic.
First Day: With clean hands, pat eyebrows gently, with wipe provided (or a baby wipe), to remove excess lymph. Repeat every hour until bedtime.
Next 7 days: Dry heal only. Avoid getting your eyebrows wet, even when showering.
What is to be avoided for the first 7-10 days:
No make-up, creams or lotion should be applied in, on or around the eyebrow.
Avoid workouts that involve a lot of sweating.
Avoid harsh sun, saunas, sunbeds, facial massages and steaming.
Avoid laser and chemical peel treatments & products containing RetinA or Glycolic acid.
Do not scratch or itch the eyebrows. Do not pick flakes or scabs if any appear.
After the first 7-10 days: Protect your new eyebrows with SPF30 (or higher) sunscreen. The use of antibiotics & hormonal therapy can lead to faster pigment fading.
Allow freshly microbladed eyebrows seven to ten days to heal. It is normal for the eyebrows to look patchy during the healing process. Do not be worried if the strokes have disappeared, it takes the pigment roughly 5-6 weeks to resurface. During the healing process the eyebrows will appear bold, the color will drop by 40-50 percent and thickness by 15 percent, when healed.
Your post treatment care contributes to 70% of the treatment’s success. Following careful instructions will give you the best possible results for your skin type and promote good healing.
